Right of withdrawal
Model withdrawal form and how the right applies
When this right applies
The fourteen-day right of withdrawal is granted to consumers, that is to say to a person buying outside any professional activity (Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code). Our programmes are intended for healthcare professionals who attend them as part of their practice, so most registrations do not fall under it. Anyone who believes they are in the consumer situation is welcome to write to us.
Two situations are exceptions, and it is fairer to state them here than in small print:
— Content with immediate access (replays, archive packs). By ticking, at the time of payment, the box through which you expressly request immediate opening of your access, you waive your right of withdrawal as soon as that access is opened (Article L221-28, 13°). That box is separate from acceptance of the terms of sale, and is never pre-ticked.
— The vocational training contract entered into by a natural person funding their own training. The applicable regime is then not the Consumer Code but Articles L6353-3 et seq. of the French Labour Code: ten days from the signature of the contract, and no sum payable before that period expires. See clause 10.3 of our terms of sale.
For a physical product (Laser Pen), the fourteen-day period runs from delivery of the parcel.
